At the Jan. 6 meeting----
We received a THANK YOU from Ministries Unlimited for our Christmas donation.
Donation to Troy Police Dept. of $2500 was accepted by Officer Huskey (president of Faternal Order of Police) to buy new equipment.
Lions District Governor will meet with Troy Lions club and St Jacob Lions Club on Jan. 28th. at St Jacob Lions Hall.
The canceled "Christmas Party" will be replaced by a "Valentine Dinner" on Feb. 17th at Michael's Restaurant in Highland. More details to follow.
Troy Lions will sponsor Lions of Illinois "Hearing Screening Unit" sometime in May at the Super Valu parking lot. Date and time to be confirmed sometime later.

SANTA Reported a very succesful "Santa in the Park" event this year. At least 650 kids came to see Santa, 1500 people total came. Also, THANK YOU to the elfs "Triad Students" who helped make it a success.
